Over thirty years ago Bob Bowen started a small family business he called Northwest Weatherstripping. It was Bob’s desire to provide homeowners and contractors throughout the Pacific Northwest with quality weatherstripping and door installation. His reputation and skill soon created a successful company that was trusted throughout the region. Bob’s son Bill was brought into the family business and the Bowen tradition of excellence and service was continued into the next generation. Upon Bob’s retirement, Bill was able to build upon the strong foundation of Northwest Weatherstripping to create Custom Door Services, Inc as tribute to the legacy of hard work and customer service he had learned from his parents.

Custom Door Services, Inc was formally created in 2006. Bill has over twenty five years of experience in the door and weatherstripping business. He has worked diligently to create a team that is dedicated to serving customer needs throughout the Puget Sound. Serving homeowners and contractors throughout the region with the same excellent service he learned from his father is a mission the entire company embraces. The office staff, finishers and installers work hard to provide products and services that communicate the commitment and message of “Welcoming you home.”
